VetAid Pro: Free Working Tools for the People Who Work Claims

If you're a Veterans Service Officer, accredited claims agent, or VA-accredited attorney, everything below is built for your side of the desk — decision intelligence, caseload tools, and roster data. All of it free, all of it cited to primary sources.

The deal, stated plainly: no seat licenses, no accounts, no demo calls — and the caseload tools run entirely in your browser, so VetAid never holds your clients' information. Your caseload is not our product. Incumbent case-management seats run ~$449–$520 per user per year; the intelligence layer shouldn't cost anything.

BVA decision intelligence

Issue-level statistics parsed from the full text of public Board decisions — the counting convention the Board's own reports recommend. Every page shows its raw counts and the exact corpus slice.

Judge outcome statisticsNEW

Grant / denial / remand rates for every Veterans Law Judge, with docket mix — set expectations before the hearing.

Outcome rates by conditionNEW

What the Board actually does with hearing loss, PTSD, back, TDIU, effective-date and reduction issues — by benefit type too.

What overturns the BoardNEW

Court-level reversal intelligence: which Board denial reasoning fails at the CAVC, and the arguments that beat it — verified dockets.

BVA decision archive

Condition-tagged reference decisions with the Board's reasoning and the authorities cited.

Ingest in progress: the full public BVA archive (~1.9 million decisions, 1992–2026) is being parsed now. Full-corpus judge analytics, year-over-year trends, and court-level "what overturns the Board" intelligence land as it completes. These pages update in place.

Caseload tools — 100% in your browser

Local-first by design: data stays in your browser's storage, exports to CSV, and never touches a VetAid server. Log clients by initials only.

Caseload deadline trackerNEW

ITF expirations, the 1-year decision-review window, Board evidence windows, CAVC's 120 days — every client, sorted by days left, citations shown.

Activity log & workload reportsNEW

Log contacts and forms filed; print a clean monthly workload report for the county board or subvention file. VA credits claims to orgs — this is your individual record.

Decision letter decoder

Deadlines computed from the letter date, the combined-rating math re-checked, and the letter's language decoded.

Combined rating calculator

38 CFR 4.25/4.26 whole-person math with every step shown — the client-meeting version.

Hearing loss rating calculator

Tables VI, VIa and VII from 38 CFR 4.85 in readable HTML, walked from puretone to percentage.

ICD-10 ↔ VA diagnostic code mapper

The crosswalk VA doesn't publish — 38 CFR 4.27 diagnostic codes mapped to ICD-10-CM with per-row provenance.

Regulation reference

Just-in-time 38 CFR — the official text with practice notes, for the mid-appointment "what does the reg actually say" moment.

38 CFR working sectionsNEW

The ~60 sections claims turn on — ITF, new evidence, duty to assist, presumptions, effective dates, TDIU, Board deadlines — full eCFR text, practice notes, linked calculators.

Rating code pages

Every 38 CFR Part 4 diagnostic code with its criteria, from the eCFR.

Roster & accreditation

Built from VA OGC's official accreditation roster, snapshotted weekly — VA publishes the roster but no statistics or history.

Accredited representative directory

Every accredited attorney, claims agent and VSO rep, matched by state, city and ZIP.

Accreditation statisticsNEW

Roster composition, newly-accredited per year, and how long Form 21a accreditation actually takes — VA's own documents, quoted and dated.

Common questions

Why is this free? What's the catch?

VetAid is free for veterans site-wide, and tools for the people representing them follow the same rule. There is no catch to find: no trial clock, no upsell tier, no lead-selling — VetAid never sells contact information or routes anyone to paid services. If a future professional API tier ever exists, these pages stay free.

Does VetAid see my clients' information?

No. The deadline tracker and activity log store everything in your browser's local storage and make no server calls with your data. VetAid has nothing to breach, subpoena, or sell. Export CSVs for your office records.

How current are the statistics?

Each statistics page states its build date and the exact decision or roster slice it was computed from — no silent refresh dates. The BVA corpus ingest and weekly roster snapshots update them in place.

What should exist here that doesn't?

These tools are built from documented rep pain points — POA tracking, deadline math, workload proof. If your office needs something specific, say so and it gets considered for the build queue.
