When a claim is filed under a power of attorney, VA credits it to the organization that holds the POA — not to the individual representative who prepared it. An officer can carry a caseload in the thousands and still have no VA-generated record of their own output; NACVSO's legislative director raised exactly this problem in VA's own 2025 research on accredited representatives. The same research found officers tracking their work in personal spreadsheets and notebooks, because nothing else exists.

The page itself loads Google Analytics (page views and button clicks, never what you type) and a feedback button. That also means you are the only backup: export a CSV regularly, because clearing your browser's site data erases the log.
Initials or the last four digits of the file number only — never a full name, full SSN, or full file number. The log documents your workload, not the veteran's case; an identifier that lets you recognize the entry is all it needs.
For county board and budget reports, yes. The report covers a month, a calendar quarter or a July–June fiscal year and gives total contacts, distinct veteran IDs, total time, breakdowns by contact type and work category, and a forms-filed count, with "Prepared by" and "Office" lines in the printed header. State subvention programs have their own workload measures and reporting systems (California's CalVet program, for example, works from claims entered in VetPro). This log does not replace those systems; use it as your own contemporaneous record and cross-check.
The log lives only in the browser where you entered it. Clearing that browser's storage deletes it, and a different computer or browser profile starts empty. Export a CSV backup regularly, and import it to move your log to a new machine.
Not directly — the log is per-browser, so each officer keeps their own. To build an office-level report, have each officer export their CSV, then import all of the files into one browser; the import merges entries and skips entries already in this browser. Files exported before October 2026 carry no entry IDs, so two identical-looking contacts from different officers in those older files can be merged into one; merge files exported after that date.
