Trying to figure out what exactly this means. Any help would be appreciated. I've read conflicting info about the Temp Jurisdiction. I did a few C&P exams before the status changed. Thanks mates.

"Temporary Jurisdiction" (Temp Jur) means your claim has been transferred from your local VA Regional Office (RO) to a centralized National Work Queue (NWQ) hub to expedite processing, often due to a backlog at your local RO; this is a routine administrative action that does not affect the merits of your claim. Your prior C&P exams remain fully valid and will be used by the rating activity at the temp jurisdiction hub. The rating decision will be based on the evidence in your file, including those exam results, evaluated against the relevant diagnostic codes (e.g., DC 9200 for schizophrenia) and the criteria in **38 CFR § 4.130** for mental disorders, applying the benefit-of-the-doubt standard as required by **38 CFR § 3.102**. Case law like *DeLuca v. Brown* (which allows for consideration of increased severity during flare-ups) and *Buchanan v. Nicholson* (regarding pain as a functional loss) may still be cited in your rating rationale. Your actionable next steps are to: 1) Ensure the VA has your current address, 2) Monitor your claim status via VA.gov or your VSO, and 3) Promptly submit any new, relevant evidence you obtain, as the rater at the temp jurisdiction must consider it per **38 CFR § 3.303(b)**. Once rated, your claim will be returned to your local RO for notification and handling of any appeals.
